General information about the forum

Metaquotes.net is a Forex broker website, which offers it’s own trading platform and a wide range of free services, which can be found in such sections as “Technical analysis”, “Expert Advisors” and “Support”. Among these features there is a forum, which can be found in the “Support section”.

Comments on posting frequency, users, moderation and structure

The forum actually is not structured. There are just countless threads which are not organised. The upper threads are the newest ones and it’s the only thing which reminds of some logical structure. All the rest is a complete chaos.
The number of users is not mentioned anywhere.
Posting frequency is high on the one hand (there are 3-6 new threads every day) and low on the other hand (there are not more than 3 answers in most threads).
Moderation is a great mystery, because moderators really might exist. The question is whether there is anything to moderate.

Disadvantages

• There’s no direct link to the forum, it can only be found after browsing the “Support” section.
• The forum is chaotic.
• It seems that the forum was designed for the website just to have a something called “forum”.
